Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Fill will naturally oxidize over time due to moisture and body oils. You can easily rid your jewelry of tarnish with a jewelry polishing cloth.
Raw brass naturally develops a wonderful patina over time. This is what give each brass piece its character. If you prefer to keep it in its original bright state, store in an airtight container and use a jewelry polishing cloth when needed.
